Skincare, thoughtfully curated for life after 30
Glow Protocol brings together skincare guides and product comparisons for women navigating changing concerns, budgets and routines after 30.
We use AI tools to research topics, organise published product information and draft articles. Our role is to curate the content and recommendations we publish, with a focus on making skincare information easier to understand and use.
The person behind Glow Protocol
Carolina Menezes — Curator, Glow Protocol
I’m Carolina, originally from Brazil. Living across four continents taught me how much my own skincare needs could change with my surroundings. Pregnancy and postpartum brought another set of changes, and more reasons to question whether the routine I had relied on still suited me.
Those personal experiences inspired Glow Protocol. I guide its editorial direction and curate the skincare content and recommendations we publish. AI tools support the research, comparisons and writing. My personal story provides context for the site; it is not a clinical study or a test of every product featured here.

What our recommendations mean
Glow Protocol is a skincare curation site. Our recommendations are editorial selections, not results from laboratory or clinical tests carried out by us.
An ingredient’s research background does not establish how every product containing it will perform. The formula, concentration, delivery method and people studied all affect what a study can tell us. We explain those distinctions when discussing evidence.
Information on this site supports product exploration and general skincare understanding. It does not provide a diagnosis or an individual treatment plan. AI checking is not medical review.
How AI and curation work together
1. AI supports research and drafting.
AI tools help locate and summarise published sources, organise product information and prepare article drafts. AI output can contain errors; a fluent explanation or a citation is not proof that a claim is correct.
2. We curate what appears on the site.
Our contribution is selecting and organising the topics, comparisons and recommendations we publish. We aim to help readers understand the purpose of a product, the trade-offs to consider and how it fits their budget and routine.
3. Product facts and research are different kinds of information.
Manufacturer ingredient lists and directions describe a particular product. Research may examine a different formula, a single ingredient or a different delivery method. Undisclosed concentrations, pH values and performance figures should not be inferred from an ingredient list.
4. Curation is separate from testing and professional review.
We do not conduct laboratory or clinical testing. Customer feedback is anecdotal. Any personal product-use experience should be identified separately and attributed to the person who actually used it. Medical review is claimed only when a named, qualified professional has actually carried it out.
5. We explain limits and correct mistakes.
AI-generated material and editorial selections can be wrong or become outdated. Product labels, formulas and prices can change. Please use the current label and manufacturer directions, and contact us if something in a guide appears inaccurate.
How we make money
Glow Protocol uses Amazon affiliate links. When you make a qualifying purchase through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
This helps fund the site and its content. Affiliate links are commercial links, not evidence that a product will work for every reader. Our editorial comparisons aim to explain practical choices and relevant limitations.
Read our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.
Corrections and contact
If you find an incorrect citation, an outdated product detail or a statement that needs clarification, send us the article URL and the detail in question. Linking the original source or current manufacturer page helps us assess the correction.
